Old News

A summary of past news in the club and R/C Community that you or new members may want to review.

On Sunday, August 14th, 2016, Marlow Anderson, our founding President passed away.  Marlow worked tirelessly for the benefit of the Lake Sawyer Hawks for many years and persevered thru the not-so-good times, so we could enjoy many good times under his leadership.  Our deepest sympathies are extended to all his family members and friends.  We will miss Marlow, especially at the Thursday Float Flys where he was a regular and occasionally flew his "W".  It's difficult to find words that express our loss of such a good friend, so I offer the following pictorial in Remembering Marlow during some very good times.  Marlow, may your final flight be forever in calm winds and clear blue sky.

Marlow’s family and friends gathering will be at the Lake Sawyer Community Clubhouse 29006 216th Ave SE Black Diamond, WA 98010 from 1 to 5 PM on Sunday, September 11th 2016.

Fun Cub Accessory Kit,  Floor/Stiffener Kit, Motor Mount, Battery Cartridge, and Aerodynamic Add-ons are available from Morgan RC  Also, check RC Groups "Fun Cub" thread.  (10-05-13)
