Tom Richards' Mig 29 from R/C Groups foamy plans with center mounted motor flies with greater maneuverability than motor-on-tail design.

This design is intended to fly indoors.

Tom's F-14 Tomcat with folding wings.  Note slack wire that controls ailerons when wings are extended for slow flight.

Tom says it goes really fast with wings in either position, but does not loop or turn as tight as design with mid-ship motor.

Nose and cockpit of F-14 is a 3-D design made by wrapping  3mm Depron foam around a plug using heat gun for initial shape, then wrapping tight to plug and baking in 200 degree oven for 15 minutes.  See Tom for additional details.
