Spring is almost here — time to dust off your aircraft and get flying.
Thank you for taking time to learn more about the Lake Sawyer Hawks RC Club. We’re a friendly, growing community of pilots flying at the Marlow Anderson R/C Airfield in Hobart / Maple Valley, WA.
We are a club of about 85 members and growing . The Lake Sawyer Hawks began in the year 2000 when the Boeing Hawks lost their airfield. A few members branched out to start a new club and find a place to fly.
After searching around, we discovered the old Hobart Landfill. On December 4, 2001 , the Marlow Anderson R/C Airfield was officially opened. Since that day, the flying and good times have continued without pause.
Lake Sawyer Hawks is built on three pillars: Community & Training , Innovation & Safety , and Volunteering & Leadership .
Our members volunteer their time to assist new members in learning to fly.
